Our annual fall conference for teen girls will be November 8 & 9, 2013 at Webster Conference Center in Salina, Kansas. This year's retreat features speaker Kathy Addis. Worship will be led by Rachael Gillis. Information has been sent to churches, but you can also download the materials right here. We hope you can join us!

Speaker

Kathy Addis was raised in Oklahoma but received her bachelor’s degree in communication from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. Since becoming a believer and follower of Jesus Christ at the age of 19, she has been passionate about women’s ministry. She is currently the co-leader of the women’s ministry at CrossPoint Church, a multisite church with 11 locations in Kansas (www.crosspointnow.net). She has had the privilege of leading ladies Bible study groups as well as speaking to various groups. She authors her own blog (www.kathyaddis.com) and works part time for Weight Watchers.
Of all the things that Kathy does to keep busy, what she loves the most is being the wife of Andy (CrossPoint Church Lead Pastor) and the mom to her two boys, Noah (14) and Nathan (12).

Worship Leader

Rachael Gillis has been leading worship for various audiences for the last 22 years. Most weekends you can find her somewhere in the Atlanta area leading worship. She lives in the Atlanta area with her husband Jon Gillis and their two children, Sawyer, 18 months and Bailey Rae who is 6. Jon and Rachael have travelled most of their marriage, Jon speaking and Rachael singing to crowds of varying ages from junior high to adult groups Their heart is to help connect others to the heart of God and recognize their absolute need for God.

Mission Projects

During the weekend, the girls will be participating in 2 mission projects.

1. Work projects around Webster’s campus- please bring work clothes.

2. Collecting items to be donated to the Friendship Center in Iowa. Hygiene Packs- please bring new full size bottles and tubes. They should fit in a gallon size zip lock bag. No travel sizes.
